If Congress knew what we did every day...

ASMNP Members,

Do you ever wish that our Congressmen/women understood the day to day jobs that we do? The struggles we have obtaining necessary medical supplies? Knew the cost of certain medications? Recognized the hurdles we jump through to obtain care for our patients? Or the physician signatures we need for care that we, the NP, are providing?

I met with a staff member from Rep. Hagedorn's office. He will be present at our Monday, March 4th ASMNP Event. He wants to hear from YOU! What practice issues are important to you? What issues in healthcare matter to you? What would you like to see from the Congressmen in Washington?

WE are the healthcare experts. We have an open ear to the Congressmen. I encourage all members who will be present Monday to come with topics to discuss. If you are unable to attend Monday but have important issues you want mentioned, please contact me. I am compiling a list of concerns and will discuss Monday.

Let's make sure NPs & APRNs are heard in Washington!
