2018 President's Message

Greetings ASMNP members!

My name is Cecilia Engler and I am honored to serve as your ASMNP president again for my second term! I have served on the AMSNP board since 2014, first as student liaison (2014-2015) and then as president elect (2015-2016) and most recently as president (2016-2017). Throughout my time as an active member within this organization, I have been inspired by the collaboration amongst hard-working nurse practitioners who come together to network and form a strong local organization. I am excited to continue my involvement within this group as president.

I am honored to be working alongside the following motivated board members to help plan an exciting 2017-2018 ASMNP year: Danielle Blazejak, Natalie Mohammad, Jennifer Hill, Kimberly Prigge, Meghan Bos, Stephanie Ahrens, Marci Newcome, Jill Hunchis, Michele Merten, Amanda Meyer, Melissa Moran, Elizabeth Schafer, and Jillian Lynaugh. As a group, we look forward toward planning four educational and networking events, re-visiting scholarship opportunities for NPs, increasing involvement within our community through volunteer opportunities, enhancing communication and collaboration with other state wide NP organizations, staying informed and active politically, among many other new and robust ideas for the upcoming year!

I welcome any feedback throughout the year to help our organization grow and improve. We always welcome new members and board involvement.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
