NP - Outpatient Psychiatry- Oshkosh, WI New

ThedaCare is committed to expanding psychiatric care to the communities it serves in providing counseling through its psychiatric program. ThedaCare Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment to adults throughout ThedaCare's seven county region. As part of an ongoing effort, ThedaCare seeks an experienced outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team in Oshkosh, WI with potential opportunities for provider coverage at ThedaCare Behavioral Health - Menasha, Behavioral Health Walk In Clinic, and Inpatient Psychiatry.

Under the general direction of the collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner provides general outpatient or consultation services to patients with psychiatric illnesses.

Full-time

Team consists of 9 physicians and 8 NPs. Triage RN support is staffed 7:30am - 5:00pm M-F and MA team staffed during clinic hours

Opportunity to work with large, experienced, diverse team across multiple levels of care

M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM, 36 clinical contact hours required by one year of employment

1-3 overnight call shifts (7:00AM-7:00PM) monthly

12 - 15 patients per day

Position Requirements:

Graduate from an NLN accredited Master’s Program in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry Mental Health a plus

Current RN License to practice in the State of Wisconsin and certification as a APNP/Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber

Will accept new grad, will not accept candidates with no PMHNP
