**Facility:**
This is a free-standing orthopedic urgent care facility featuring three exam rooms, a dedicated cast room, and a state-of-the-art Radiology Suite. The facility operates independently from the main campus and provides specialized orthopedic urgent care services to the community.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Urgent Care

**Job Details:**
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills to provide patient care • Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Provide healthcare to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention • Practice in a VERY independent model with support from onsite radiology tech and athletic trainer • Provide initial workup and medical care only, with all follow-up care done by referral • Work in a dynamic setting where Advanced Practitioners comprise the core staff, with MD oversight from orthopedics • Work shifts will be three 12-hour days for full-time employees or variations of these hours • Staffing model: Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. • Requires high level of customer service skills to establish positive relationships with patients and co-workers • Background in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care preferred • Education requirements: Master's degree in nursing (NP) or Bachelor's degree in health/science-related field (PA) • Appropriate licensure and certification required for practice • May be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation
